Meeting the needs of individuals and families who are in need of physical and spiritual assistance
La Puente is an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County with one of the highest poverty rates in the nation. 85% of La Puente’s 40,000 residents are Hispanic and 42% are foreign-born. With limited access to resources, its residents rely on community organizations for spiritual and physical support and to provide a safe and supportive environment - including food and access to clean, safe drinking water.
